Our story

Founded in 1997, ROTRA SA has been distinguished by constant and healthy growth ever since. The company started with five tanker trucks to transport milk for Migros Estavayer Lait SA (ELSA GROUP). Refrigerated transport of fresh products is now an integral part of our core business, as are supply transports for various customers throughout Switzerland.


Our company has a generous infrastructure and a modern vehicle fleet. Our qualified and motivated employees guarantee a transport and logistics service that always puts the customer's interest first. Our team led by Jolanda Rolli is also flexible and responds efficiently to our customers' requests every day, even at short notice.

Events

Rotra SA is proud of its partnership with the Young Boys football club. This partnership reflects our commitment to the sport and the community. As a sign of this collaboration, we have dressed three of our trucks with the colours and logo of Young Boys. These vehicles symbolise our passionate support and our desire to bring fans closer to the club. Together, we are carrying the spirit of the sport throughout the region.

  • Hydrogen truck: We have integrated a hydrogen truck into our fleet, a clean technology that significantly reduces CO2 emissions and contributes to greener logistics.
  • Euro 6 standard: Our trucks meet the Euro 6 standard, the strictest European standard for pollutant emissions. This ensures that our vehicles are among the most environmentally friendly on the road.
  • Double-deck trucks: Our double-deck trucks can carry up to 52 pallets, optimising each journey to reduce the number of trips required and therefore CO2 emissions.
